Kimberly Nguyen, DDS
Charlotte, North Carolina
What is your educational background?
I graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School in 1991 at the age of 23.Upon graduation, I was grateful to be honored for excellence in scholarship, leadership and service to the university.
How long have you practiced dentistry?
This is my 17th year in dentistry, and I still absolutely love it! In some ways, I feel that I am just beginning. I work with a fabulous team, my patients are wonderful and our office loves to give back to the community we serve by having “Dentistry with a Heart” events. Aside from clinical dentistry, I have also been a quality assurance consultant for a leading dental insurance company.
What is your current practice?
We have two practices both in Fullerton, California. One practice is focused on children and the other on adults. I am grateful to have a splendid team, which includes two associate doctors, an amazing support team and rotating specialists.
What do you enjoy most about being a dentist?
I love caring and serving our patients, as well as training, supporting and developing my team. I also enjoy the business aspect of it.
When were you introduced to Oxyfresh?
Over 10 years ago when I went through the Fresh Breath Centre training. I have been recommending our products ever since.
What is your favorite Oxyfresh product and why?
I actually have a few favorites. I started with our fluoride line and love that, but I like a variety so I will use our Power line as well as our Zinc rinses. For the non-dental products, I love Heavenly Cleansing Gelé and Aiyana Conditioner.
What are your hobbies and passions in life?
I love to read, travel, meet people, learn new cultures, contribute to society and to make a difference.
Who is the most influential person in your life that played a major role in your success?
Definitely my family. They’re absolutely awesome. I feel extremely blessed for the love and support that I receive from them. Even as a child, they believed that I could do anything I set my mind to — and I’m very grateful for that.
