Introducing Patients to Oxyfresh

It is essential to keep in mind that your patients can very often be challenged with processing a lot of information while they are in the chair. And, they may be too fearful, confused and unaware to even tell you. The daily routine and practice of the office is second nature for you and your team. However, for patients, they can be overwhelmed with a diagnosis, treatment recommendations, home care instructions, etc.

Assuming you have already established good rapport with your patient, the best way to introduce Oxyfresh is to keep it simple, avoid being technical, use analogies that your patient can relate to and create value in protecting the investments they are making in their oral health. Your patients are counting on you, as the expert, to guide them and provide them with the best recommendations based on their wants and needs.

Below are a few examples of introductory conversations that may be useful. However, it is more natural and authentic to engage in conversation about Oxyfresh products when you are personally using them and believe in them. Recommendations and conversation happens organically when you and your team members have personally experienced Oxyfresh products.

Sample Introduction Conversations

1) Patient receiving treatment that includes Oxyfresh home care in the case fee:
*Ideal for cosmetic or whitening services, long-term periodontal maintenance and orthodontic care

Mr/Ms _______, in addition to the therapy/treatment you’ll be receiving, we’re also customizing a safe and effective home care program that will protect and ensure the investment you’re making in your oral health.

2) General hygiene patient:
*Ideal for a healthy hygiene patient that is conscientious about oral health and wants fresh breath

Mr/Ms ________, you’re doing a great job with your oral hygiene and maintaining your regular visits. Since you’re serious about your dental health, I’d like to recommend a safe and effective home care system to which we were recently introduced and have already seen some great results.

3) Patient using Oxyfresh for pre- or post- treatment rinse:
*While handing the patient a cup with Oxyfresh Mouthrinse...

Mr/Ms _______, please swish with this for a full minute. One of the first things you’ll notice is this rinse is clear – which means it contains no dyes or colorings that can stain your teeth and dental work.

*Allow them to rinse and continue with...

This rinse is unique because it contains an ingredient, which actually eliminates mouth odors at its source. It does not contain alcohol or strong artificial flavorings to mask odors. Therefore, you experience a mild, refreshing taste with no alcohol burn. I use it at home and I love it. We recommend to all our patients and even have it available here in the office for those who prefer home care that is safe and effective.
